Index to warrants, 1850-1950.

These index cards provide name and date access to "Warrants of arrest" (Series 324) and "Warrant papers" (Series 100). Cards include the names of fugitives wanted for crimes committed in other states, the date of the warrant, and volume and page reference to an as yet unidentified series of volumes. (Note: these volume references do not provide access to the volumes of Series 324.) Since Series 100 and 324 are arranged chronologically, these cards provide alphabetical access to a fugitive's warrant date thus allowing easier reference to Series 100 and 324.
